Cybersecurity Alerts

As our world becomes increasing digital, we must be more diligent in protecting our identity - in all forms.   As we are made aware of various threats, we will share them here in hopes of increasing awareness.

We’ve recently become aware of a scam involving Docusign in which cybercriminals are selling customizable phishing templates on cybercrime forums that allow attackers to steal Docusign credentials. These fraudulent emails are designed to mimic legitimate document signing requests, thus luring recipients into clicking malicious links or divulging sensitive information. This scam could potentially impact anyone who uses Docusign.

Your best defense against cybercrime is vigilance and educating yourself and your staff about the warning signs, such as unusual requests, urgent tones, unrequested attachments, and links from unknown/untrusted sources. Always review the sending email address before replying to any unsolicited email and never provide your credentials in response to ANY email before making verbal contact with the sender to verify that the email is legitimate.
