It has been brought to our attention that some clients may not realize a seemingly auto-generated email from Smarsh Email Encryption is an email from our office. Cybersecurity is becoming an increasing threat and we take your identity seriously.
Starting January 2020, we decided to have ALL outgoing emails sent through our server to be secured. If your email server is secured (using SSL), then our email reads as a normal incoming email. But if the email server is NOT secured, then each time we send an email, you will get a notification to log into Smarsh Email Encryption to retrieve the secured email.
While all outgoing emails are secured, we don't have the ability to control incoming emails. For your protection, please do not send us an unsecured email or attachments with your personal identifying information. We understand it's less convenient, but cybersecurity is an increasing risk and we think it's best to protect our clients.
